[Disclaimer: this may be a dumb idea, i just want to make sure =) ] Have a website similar to StumbleUpon, but for iPhone apps. With over 10,000 iphone apps, it's easy for some really good apps to go unnoticed or older apps to be forgotten. The basic premise is as follows: 1) homepage is a random iphone app with a short description followed by a link to purchase the app from iTunes, link to view reviews of the app from www.148.com or apvee.com or any other site that is willing to participate (if a review is available), and a link to the developer's website 2) The user can immediately give a thumbs up or thumbs down for the app on the current page based on the short blurb, or personal experience. Additionally, users will be able to see the overall # of thumbs up or thumbs down for the app 3) if you give the app a thumbs up, a list of similar apps appears on the side 4) the more thumbs up a certain app receives, the more times it will appear on the homepage/ the higher weight it gets during the next shuffle there are a few ways to profit, i.e. % cut per app purchased off the siteis this a trivial thing?
